3 Takeaways

Here are three key takeaways from the conversation:

1️⃣ Experimentation is key: We discuss the importance of continuous experimentation in today's ever-changing business landscape. Companies need to have the appetite and budget for experimentation, as well as the willingness to embrace failure. It's all part of the process of finding what works and what doesn't. Some #retailers are fully on board with this mindset, while others may need a little more convincing. Either way, it's crucial for businesses to adapt and evolve.

2️⃣ Establishing an AI strategy: Our guest, Bernadette Nixon, CEO of Algolia, shares her perspective on the future of retail. According to her, every company needs to become an AI company in order to survive. The expertise required for AI implementation is immense, which is why companies like Algolia exist to provide AI as a service. It's a fascinating insight into the direction that retail is heading in, and it's something that all brands should be aware of.

3️⃣ Search Discovery Experience: We explore the importance of search and discovery to the entire #ecommerce experience and how getting this part of the customer experience right can have long-term lasting effects.
